The largest and simplest tax relief is the basic ratepayer relief. In 2026, its amount remains unchanged - it amounts to CZK 30,840 per year (i.e. CZK 2,570 per month).
Every taxpayer is entitled to this allowance, even if you only had income for part of the year. For employees, the discount can be claimed via a "pink form" signed with the employer, or they can deduct it together with the self-employed when filing their tax return.
